The book 'René Heyvaert. Voor altijd gesloten' presents a series of artworks and letters of artist/architect René Heyvaert (1929-1984), and was published on the occasion of a solo show by the artist at Settantotto.
Artist-photographers Tim Onderbeke and Julie Poisquet explore the legacy of René Heyvaert. In this publication, they employ a refined figurative sequence, creating a dialogue between their photographs and the architecture and artworks of René Heyvaert. The previously unpublished letters to Kristien De Witte serve as a unifying thread throughout the rich story shared by Heyvaert and his muse.
