About the artists

Henk Delabie (1966, lives and works in Geluwe, Belgium) is renowned for his sculptural works that explore the interplay between form, space, and human perception. The "Units" in plywood serve as experiments in capturing space and exploring concepts such as enclosure, inclusion, and exclusion of three-dimensional volumes. Klaus Staudt (1932, lives and works in Frankfurt, Germany) is one of the leading exponents of constructive and concrete art in Germany and Europe. His oeuvre is based upon simple geometric forms encased in transparent plexiglass which give the illusion of movement as the viewer’s eye travels, with the interplay between colour, light and shadow influencing perception. His contributions to art have been recognized with numerous exhibitions and his works are included in significant public and private collections.
