Heimat aus der Ferne

Carmine Antonio Iacolare (b. 1998, Germany), lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium. He works with sensitive assemblages and installations, using natural or found materials and remnants from farms and tanneries. A connection to the countryside informs his work, shaping his attention to material and process.

His practice often explores vulnerability and focuses on what lies beneath the surface, both in material and meaning - engaging with hidden layers, overlooked fragments, and delicate tensions.

The gallery is open on Saturdays and Sundays, from 14 until 18 o'clock.

The exhibition runs from 31 08 until 28 09 2025.
